Arkansas NASW Committees

Affirmative Action Committee:
Assures that the Chapter adheres to their Affirmative Action Plan.

Annual Conference Committee:
Responsible for developing, overseeing and sponsoring the chapter annual conference

Committee on Inquiry:
Responsible for hearing and determining complaints filed in accord with the association’s policy on the Adjudication of Grievances.

Continuing Education Committee:
Responsible for developing, overseeing and sponsoring all continuing education programs involving the Chapter.

Executive Committee:
Responsible for the operation of the Chapter between Board of Directors’ meetings.

Legislative Committee:
Responsible for working with the Board of Directors to develop the chapter’s legislative agenda and monitoring the legislative process

Nominations & Leadership Identification Committee:
Responsible for development of a double slate of candidates for available positions on the Board of Directors and Delegate Assembly.

PACE:
Responsible to elect and keep in office candidates and public officials who support the goals and objectives of the social work profession and its clients.
